Logs are billed by data volume almost everywhere, which makes them the easiest signal to compare on a per-GB basis. Datadog charges $0.10/GB to ingest plus $1.27 per million events to index. Grafana Cloud (Loki) is ~$0.45/GB above a 50 GB free allowance, and Better Stack is roughly $0.50/GB telemetry. Elastic serverless starts at $0.105/GB ingest plus per-GB-month retention. Coralogix lists $0.42/GB but its TCO Optimizer can drop low-value logs to $0.17/GB. Logz.io prices by GB/day at a chosen retention (~$0.92/GB/day at 7 days), and Sumo Logic makes ingest free under Flex, charging credits for storage and scan instead.
